VIJAYAWADA: AP DGP Gautam Sawang on Sunday stated that a pass is compulsory even for emergency situation travel and informed that they would begin issuing e-passes for emergency situation functions from Monday.

He mentioned that those requiring the passes can apply through the Police Seva app in their mobiles.Sawang stated that the curbs on inter-state movements would continue up until the government took a get in touch with the matter.

On Sunday, he made a surprise visit to Vijayawada and inspected the enforcement of partial curfew in the state.
