Well known cardiologist from Gujarat, Dr Gaurav Gandhi succumbed to heart attack.

The 41 year old doctor died of the fatal cardiovascular complication on Tuesday morning.As per reports, Dr Gandhi has performed more than 16,000 heart surgeries in his career.Gandhi collapsed near his bathroom two hours after reaching his house.

He was shifted to GG Hospital.

He died within 45 minutes of reaching the hospital, Dr Nandini Desai, dean of MP Shah Medical College, Jamanagar told TOI.He is survived by his wife and two kids.

It helps assess the heart's response to stress and can detect conditions like coronary artery disease.3.

Echocardiogram: This test uses sound waves to create images of the heart's structure and function.

It provides valuable information about the heart's pumping capacity, valve function, and overall health.4.

Cardiac catheterization: This invasive procedure involves threading a thin tube (catheter) through a blood vessel to the heart.

It allows the visualization of blood flow, measurement of pressures within the heart, and assessment of any blockages or abnormalities.5.

Blood tests: Various blood tests can provide information about heart health, including cholesterol levels, lipid profiles, and biomarkers like troponin, which can indicate heart damage.6.

CT scan or MRI: These imaging tests can provide detailed images of the heart's structure, allowing for the evaluation of any structural abnormalities, blockages, or damage.It's important to note that the specific tests recommended may vary depending on individual circumstances and the presence of any symptoms or risk factors.
