KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 10The CPN-UML Central Committee on Saturday expelled 14 party leaders, including Ghana Shyam Bhusal and Prabhu Sah for anti-party activities.
Both Bhusal and Sah had deserted the party to file their candidacy in the House of Representatives elections as independent candidates.

Sah, who contested parliamentary election from Rautahat-3 won, but Bhusal who contested from Rupandehi-1 lost.
Among other CC members who were expelled are Kundan Kushwaha, Ganga Chaudhary, Badri Neupane, Upendra Sah, Ramprit Ram, Rita Sah, and Tek Bahadur Balampakhi.
The UML expelled PR candidate Jainab Khatun.
