SHIKARPUR: Pakistan People portiony (PPP) chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reacted to decision of changing the name of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), calling it a conspiracy to shut the program down entirely.
The PPP co-chairman after a plantation drive in Shikarpur speeching to the media revealed that those looking to change the name of BISP are conspiring to totally end it.
He stated that women in Thatta and Sehwan were protesting for much receiving the amount and these individuals are acting as enemies of the public and the needy.
&This is a long-term conspiracy.
First they shall change the name, then reduce the amount before abolishing it totally,& he stated.
&They think that through BISP money is being wasted while I believe that this is the best program in the country,& he added.Moreover, he asserted that through the support programme, much just women were being empowered but the economy was also getting strengthened.
